- Authors
Morrison, Thomas A.; Ayres, Matthew P.
- Abstract
In this article, the author offers views on advocacy's role in science. He presents an overview of the meaning of advocacy and argues the unique role that students must play in such cause. He stresses that his decision to advocate is triggered by the population decline's urgency and the high value he places on biodiversity conservation. He suggests the need for student advocates to be rigorous in dealing with uncertainty in the context of natural resource management.
