- Abstract
New records of two species of Nebria (Falcinebria) are reported from Niigata Prefecture, Japan, mainly around the Aganogawa River. Nebria niohozana Bates, 1883 is reported from three localities, and Nebria niohozana and Nebria kasasugaensis Sasakawa & Itô, 2021, which occur sympatrically, are reported from one locality. This is the first report of sympatric occurrence of N. niohozana and N. kasasugaensis. A body-size difference was observed between the two sympatric species, with N. niohozana larger than N. kasasugaensis. Errata in the original description of N. kasasugaensis are also reported.
