- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 76-year-old Parkinson's disease patient who developed anterocollis, also called dropped head, after receiving ropinirole. The patient underwent a simultaneous surface electromyographic procedure which showed cocontraction of extensor and flexor neck muscles without evidence of myopathy. In 2015, he was admitted to an intensive care unit for several days after he developed a peptic ulcer.
