- Abstract
The article discusses the burgeoning role of virtual reality (VR) technology in palliative care during COVID-19. Topics discussed include the use of VR to record patients in their last few weeks during their lucid moments, the potential of VR devices to allow real-time interaction in an augmented reality setting, and briefing of patients and families about a simulation that would help set appropriate expectations and maximize satisfaction.
