- Abstract
This study aimed to analyze the whole process of processing of salt, which in all its phases provides environ-mental risks to employees. We conducted a qualitative exploratory survey that describe and analyze the possible physical risks they face workers in this industrial segment. Data were collected and analyzed, completed and used as techniques for field work and interpretation of information collected, respectively, observation and preliminary risk analysis. The results obtained from the study demonstrated the need for adopting preventive measures and rations, in order to avoid accidents in the beneficiation process of salt, because this is the stage of production which has the greatest diversity of risks and concentration of the largest number of workers in the industry salivary customs territory.
