- Abstract
The article focuses on the aftermath of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack in the U.S. which has revived the salience of Pakistan in the U.S. War on Terror and has led to the strengthening of India-U.S. ties. The author mentions that the India-U.S. partnership has emerged as the factor in reinforcing China's Pakistan card. John Garver, a Sinologist, states that this has raised the importance of Pakistan for China in dealing with India.
