The author comments on an article "Management of neonates born to women with Graves' disease: a cohort study" by A. Besancon and others, which was appeared in the 2014 issue of "European Journal of Endocrinology." Topics include thyroid function and clinical outcomes of neonates born to mothers with past or present Graves' disease, association between use of antithyroid drug in pregnancy and congenital heart defects and role of maternal TSH receptor antibodies (TRAb) in late pregnancy.
