- Abstract
The article discusses the application of the response to intervention (RTI) educational model to students who are both gifted and simultaneously manifest learning disabilities. Introductory details are given identifying features and challenges facing twice exceptional (2e) students. An overview of the RTI model is given with specific attention to its application to 2e students. Multiple sample students with individualized education programs are also included.
