- Abstract
A piezoelectric ceramic plate that allows the propagation of the antisymmetric zero-order Lamb wave ( A0) is proposed as the hydroacoustic emitter. The characteristics of the A0 wave in the structure consisting of the piezoelectric ceramic plate and liquid are theoretically analyzed. The results are used for the calculation and fabrication of the prototype emitter of bulk wave in liquid based on the TsTS-19 piezoelectric ceramic material. The directional pattern of the emitter is measured at various frequencies. It is demonstrated that the experimental data are in good agreement with the theoretical results.
