- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 3‐year‐old girl with abnormal appearance in the fingernails and toenails. It notes the leukokeratotic plaques on the lateral borders of the tongue and hyperkeratotic papules on the extensor aspects of the limbs. It mentions the diagnosis of pachyonychia congenita (PC) attributed to a de novo mutation in KRT6A gene and information of effective treatments which include filing, grinding, cutting, and clipping of the nails.
