- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 51-year-old female patient who was diagnosed with pancreaticopleural fistula after recovering from endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)-induced pancreatitis. Ventilation, inotropic support and renal dialysis were required for the patient as she developed multiorgan failure. The failure of conservative medical measures required the patient to undergo surgery for the drainage of pseudocyst.
