- Abstract
Dear Sirs, Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) is a chronic, relapsing inflammatory disease that typically involves the skin, joints, bone marrow, and central nervous system [[1]]. The patient also showed persistent geotropic nystagmus after turning the head to either side while supine. As in our patient, various neurotologic findings can be observed in SLE, including gaze-evoked, positional nystagmus, unilateral canal paresis, or abnormal saccades [[4]-[6]].
