- Abstract
The article focuses on a study which aims to examine the effect of Sho-seiryu-to (TJ-19) herbal medicine oleic acid-induced lung injury of guinea-pigs with acute lung injury (ALI) or acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). It says that the induction of ALI is by intravenous injection of oleic acid in guinea-pigs and by oral dose of TJ-19. Moreover, results show that TJ-19 is a medicinal resource and promising drug candidate in the prevention of ARDS/ALI.
