- Abstract
The main research object of this paper is the dolomous mudstone in shale oil reservoir The characteristics of pore structure of nanometer are studied based on the experimental data of low temperature nitrogen adsorption and its fractal dimension is calculated. It is shown that the pore concentration of the shale oil reservoir is relatively concentrated and continuous compared with that of typical shale gas reservoir and dense oil reservoir in China. The main distribution range of pore radius is from 4 to 40 nm. The pore morphology is relatively simple, mainly as parallel plate holes. The pore distribution of shale oil reservoir is not only different from the characteristics of uniform pore development of different sizes in the core of dense oil reservoir, but also distinct from the core of shale gas reservoir with smaller main pore space. The porosity fractal dimension of shale oil reservoir lies between selected dense oil reservoir and shale gas reservoir, which shows that the heterogeneity of shale oil reservoir is also somewhere between them.
