- Abstract
This document is a letter to the editor in response to comments on a study comparing the analgesic efficacy of different local blocks after laparoscopic cholecystectomy. The authors address concerns about their analgesic protocol, pain intensity results, occurrence of postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV), and choice of local blocks. They explain their rationale for the protocol, acknowledge the limitations of pain assessment, discuss the challenges of managing PONV, and justify their choice of local blocks based on practical considerations. The authors appreciate the constructive criticism and provide a revised explanation of their results.
