- Abstract
The article focuses on post-partum depression (PPD) among mothers and its negative association with the emotional regulation in pre-term born children. Topics include the prevalence of PPD and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), the significance of emotional regulation in allowing control over the duration, intensity and expression of emotions and the importance of early identification of the condition to prevent the development of children's emotional regulation problems.
