- Abstract
The article presents the study on the placental pathology and pregnancy outcome in pregnancies with fetal growth restriction (FGR) with and without preeclampsia. It discusses how the study was conducted which involved neonates with low birth weights and born between 24 to 42 weeks of pregnancy. The results reportedly revealed that pregnancy with FGR and preeclampsia has more maternal placental vascular lesions and worse pregnancy outcome compared without preeclampsia.
