- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 75-year-old woman who was diagnosed with Philadelphia-positive acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (Ph+ALL). She underwent treatment with Imatinib with steroids, obtaining rapid complete molecular remission (CMR), and after a period of eight years of Imatinib withdrawal, reports concluded that that the withdrawal of Imatinib therapy could be safely performed in Ph+ALL patients exhibiting long-term CMR.
