- Abstract
The article presents a study which discusses the importance of multilayered textile-based sensors for determining the healing process and infection of chronic wounds. Topics discussed include sensors capable of measuring indicators like hydrogen ion change and concentration of immune cells, hydrogels like chitosan being promising material for the functional layer which is spun as a filament yarn and measurement of sensor yarn depending on the neutrophil extracellular traps (NET) concentration.
