- Abstract
The article focuses on a study carried out to detect the critical flow regions inside a graft-to-vein connection using laser Doppler anemometer (LDA). It states that kidney transplantation is needed to cure patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD). It describes the experiment in which a color Doppler ultrasound device and computer tomography (CT) were used to study the graft-to-vein geometry, vessel diameters and flow conditions.
