- Abstract
The aim of this study was to evaluate the microbiological quality of dried flowers: denseflower mullein (Verbascum densiflorum Bertol.), elderberry (Sambucus nigra L.) and meadowsweet (Filipendula ulmaria L.) from cultivation of their own. The greatest overall number of aerobic mesophilic bacteria, spores, yeasts and molds, among the analyzed materials, characterized by dried flowers meadowsweet. In the test materials isolated from filamentous fungi belonging to the following genera: Alternaria sp., Aspergillus sp., Cladosporium sp., Botrytis sp., Penicillium sp., Trichoderma sp., Mucor sp., Phoma sp., Fusarium sp. None of the tested trying not reported the presence of E. coli, Salmonella sp. or Staphylococci coagulase (+). The titer of coliform bacteria was 0.001 g.
