- Abstract
The article focuses on a study that aims at evaluating the factors associated with clearance time of mycoplasma mastitis in 18 dairy cattle herds. It mentions about the high prevalence of mycoplasma mastitis, caused by Mycoplasma bovis infections, in North American dairy herds and describes the methodology of the study, that was conducted on herds enrolled in the Northwest Dairy Association's (NDA) bulk tank milk culture (BTM) program.
