- Abstract
The article discusses a study comparing the efficacy of balance training linked with muscle strengthening or stretching, relative to no intervention, in the postural control of elderly women with osteoporosis. The modified Clinical Test of Sensory Interaction for Balance (CTSIBm), Limits of Stability Test, dynamometry and goniometry were used to measure the parameters. The results showed that both interventions are effective and the strengthening group was superior to the stretching group.
