- Abstract
The article discusses the factors associated with autopsy acceptance rate in the mixed study conducted by collecting data from audit of still births in the hospitals of Seine-Saint-Denis, France, in 2014. It states only 39.1 percent agreed to an autopsy and autopsy was free and reasons for refusal includes invasive autopsy, religious perception, insufficient explanation from healthcare professionals, it will not provide proper cause of death. It notes autopsy is essential to know the cause.
