- Abstract
The article highlights the resolution on the use of instructional materials in teacher education. This resolution urges a basic instructional program in the use of libraries and other materials for teachers and school administrators. It was unanimously adopted at the annual meeting of the American Association of School Libraries (AASL) on June 20, 1960. AASL recommends that all teacher education programs introduce instruction in the use of libraries and library resources such as books, slides, and video and audio recordings. The article also presents the detailed information of the resolution.
