- Abstract
The article discusses a study which examines the implications and relevance of the acclimation to chronically carbon dioxide to an elevated ambient. Topics include the health consequences of carbon dioxide, the relevance of the responses to occupational recreational and environmental stressors of chronically elevated carbon dioxide and the renal activity in response to chronic respiratory and acid-base disturbances.
