- Abstract
In the article "Early Stage Growth Process of Dinaphtho[2,3-b:2',3'-f]thieno[3,2-b]thiophene (DNTT) Thin Film," Nobuya Hiroshiba and colleagues investigate the early-stage growth of DNTT thin films using grazing incidence X-ray diffraction (GIXD), atomic force microscopy (AFM) for surface morphology analysis, and molecular dynamics (MD) simulations. The researchers control the thin-film growth conditions through a slow deposition method. The study confirms the vertical orientation of DNTT from the growth of the first layer using GIXD and utilizes MD simulations to gain knowledge about the early stages of DNTT thin film growth.
