- Abstract
The article presents a study of design, demographic baseline and medical characteristics of Alzheimers's disease (AD) conducted by Texas Alzheimer's Research Consortium (TARC). The methodology of the study focuses on questions about the role of genetics, prognosis and prevention of AD, which has been viewed as a valuable resource for research. Moreover, the study can help reduce the burden associated with the disease to patients and families.
