- Abstract
The article introduces two new methods to unveil the different forms of genomic structural variation. These methods include molecular copy-number counting which essentially uses limiting quantities of input DNA to probabilistically quantify DNA copy number in a large number of polymerase chain reaction on a microtiter plate and chromosomal inversion which represent a change in the orientation of DNA sequence and not generally associated with the gain or loss of genetic material.
