- Abstract
The article presents a case of a 67-year-old female with a tumor in her basal interventricular septum (IVS) that is detected using routine echocardiography to discuss the importance of multimodality imaging in diagnosing metastatic tumor of IVS mimicking myocardial calcification. The patient showed no signs of left ventricular hypertrophy or valvular heart disease. Also cited is the importance of cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) in the diagnosis.
