- Abstract
This study deals with certain issues such as motivation and selection of sports staff resources in Bulgarian Seaside resorts. Two models have been offered here: a motivation and a selection models for sports resources. The sample of respondents consisted of 706 sports workers, employed in six resort complexes. They were grouped as follows: 112 sports managers, 256 animators, 234 instructors and 104 people supporting sports staff. The research applied methods such as:a survey questionnaire, interview, monitoring and experiment. The comparative analysis of the sports staff's motivation profile in the resorts ensures transfer and use of best practices. It is necessary to develop an exact model with appropriate approach in the field of sports-tourist companies in order to improve the average performance success of the selected candidates.
