- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 28-month old Caucasian female presented to the pediatric care center for an enlarging right palatal mass. A magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) revealed a well-circumscribed, ovoid right-sided palatal mass favoring a cystic lesion. A nasalendoscopy was done before excision and a left-sided deviation of the uvula was noted. The lesion's histopathology was seen to be consistent with an epidermoid cyst lined with squamous mucosa and filled with milky fluid.
