- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 58-year-old woman who complained of hematemesis, melena and acute anemia. Information on her medical history is provided. A polypoid crateriform bleeding neoformation was detected via an upper endoscopy, while squamous tumor cells were observed in histological specimens. She underwent exploratory emergency laparotomy due to gastrointestinal bleeding. She was diagnosed with pancreatic squamous cell carcinoma.
