- Title
Experiments in the Construction of Old Copper Complex Tools.
- Authors

- Abstract
The utilization and trade of raw copper obtained from sources in proximity to Lake Superior has been well documented. The period of the most extensive utilization of this resource has come to be known as the Old Copper Complex. Experiments involving the fabrication of tool forms from raw copper obtained from glacial drift were conducted utilizing both reverse engineering and traditionally available tools. The applications of traditional tools produced specimens consistent with archaeologically recovered examples.
