- Title
Solution to pollution?
- Abstract
The article reports on the recent discovery of a new bacteria, which acts as natural cleanser for contaminated soil, in Libby, Montana by the researchers from Utah State University. The bacteria, which has been used already worldwide, is inexpensive and highly effective as solution to pollution. As technically defined, bioremediation do an environmental clean-up by utilizing living organisms to degrade and transform hazardous organic contaminants using natural biology. The researchers will continue their investigation as to what particular genetic material that allows these bacteria to degrade polycyclicaromatic hydrocarbons and survive in the soil.
