- Authors
Anderson, Jr., John E.; Neeley, Melvin C.
- Abstract
The article discusses the findings of a study designed to determine the attitudes of the students toward the specific sciences represented in the Florida State University in Tallahassee's science camp. The article describes the lectures and activities at the science camp. A chart is presented that shows the nearest mean rank for each science participating by category, including physics, oceanography, anthropology, physiology and mathematics. The study concludes that the students made a definite distinction between contribution to human welfare and social prestige.
