The article presents a research papers analyzing hydrogen/deuterium exchange (H/D exchange) of cross-linkable a-amino acid derivatives with deuterated trifluoromethanesulfonic acid (TfOD).Topics discussed include exchange of a partial H/D for trifluoromethyldiazirinyl (TFMD) phenylalanine derivatives, biological functions of bioactive peptides and proteins, and mass spectrum compared to untreated samples.
