- Title
LAND ASSEMBLY FOR HOUSING DEVELOPMENTS.
- Authors
WOODBURY, COLEMAN
- Abstract
The article discusses several issues related to land assembly for housing projects in the U.S. It reports on established technique of land assembly, land assembly powers under state housing laws and the procedure of eminent domain. It states that one of the worst features of many state laws is requiring an inexpert Jury to listen to an almost endless amount of ex parte testimony on value. It informs that the condemnation procedure should be conducted separately from local fixing or benefit assessment.
