- Abstract
To explore the application value of the AR remote guidance system for remote medical guidance during response to COVID-19. The application data of the system were collected from 19 first-line hospitals in China, and then according to provider source were divided into three types for doctor guidance, nursing guidance and non -medical guidance respectively. Classification statistics analyses were executed over the use frequency, time and domain of the cloud server as well as the application purposes and results. SPSS 25.0 software and descriptive statistics method were used for data analysis and processing. Totally 2 201 times of system application were recorded, of which, there were 328 times (14.90%) for doctor guidance, 436 times (19.81%) for nursing guidance and 1 437 times (65.29%) for non-medical guidance; the success rate was 79.27% for doctor guidance, 97.48% for nursing guidance and 98.89% for non -medical guidance; supposing that one times of system application saved half an hour as well as one suit involving one piece of protective clothing, one mask and one pair of medical goggles, there were 6 603 pieces of protective articles and 1 100.5 hours saved; totally more than 2 201 times of close contacts were avoided. The AR remote guidance system contributes to saving medical protective resources, decreasing nosocomial infection and enhancing young medical staffs of the affected area in responses to clinical emergencies, and thus is worthy promoting practically.
