- Abstract
The article presents a marketing law and legislation case involving antitrust law and the Robinson-Patman Act. Case specifics involving Southern Stone Company in Auburn, Alabama and S&M Materials in Seale, Alabama are provided. The dispute occured over the price of dolomite, which was raised after Southern Stone allegedly found S&M to be competing against them by buying dolomite and using it to produce lime in the Southern United States. Price discrimination and the definition of "in commerce" are covered.
