- Abstract
Suppression of common frequency jamming between same type warning radars is studied. According to the feature of fixed scan cycle of mechanical scanning warning radar, a new rotating cycle moving target detection (MTI) cancellation technique against common frequency jamming is presented. Mathematic model for common frequency jamming of warning radar is established, and the reason why conventional MTI technique cannot eliminate common frequency jamming is given. Because common frequency jamming varies slowly and regularly, rotating cycle MTI technique extends the MTI cancellation period to antenna rotation period, so as to achieve better jamming cancellation effect. Both theoretical analysis and simulation results prove that this new rotating cycle MTI technique is effective in term of common frequency jamming suppression.
