- Abstract
The article presents guidelines from the British Society for Rheymatology (BSR) and the British Health Professionals in Rheumatology (BHPR) on the use of rituximab in rheumatoid arthritis (RA). It cites recommendations such as the use of rituximab in RA either alone or with LEF is MTX is contra-indicated, rituximab given in RA before anti-TNF treatments and should be given in patients with active RA who failed in one or more biologics or are intolerant to anti-TNF therapy.
