- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 26-year-old woman who presented with nonhealing leg ulcerations. Topics covered include the findings of the antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA) testing and biopsy which led to the diagnosis of granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA), the response of the patient to rituximab and prednisone, and how the case illustrates the possibility of GPA occurring with bowel involvement and tumor necrosis factor alpha-induced vasculitis.
