The article present evidences for integrative remedies for the treatment of cold or acute viral nasopharyngitis. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) mentions that the disease is considered as one of the leading causes of absences from work and school and doctor consultations acquiring 22 million missed school days in the country. It presents various recommended treatment such as Umckaloabo (Pelargonium sidoides), Echinacea, and vitamin C (ascorbic acid).
