- Abstract
The article focuses on lessons learned from the children's story ''Peter and the Wolf'' that can be applied to effective communications in organizations. The author discusses the character Peter in the story, and his regretting having lied to the villagers about the presence of the wolf, when the wolf subsequently appeared and ate some of Peter's sheep. The author asserts that the story can be related to the ineffective communication and crisis management practices of businesses.
