- Abstract
The article discusses several research papers related to topics including noninvasive ventilation (NIV), acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) and sedation during mechanical ventilation. It mentions a study which evaluated outcomes in acute respiratory failure (ARF) patients treated with NIV and also determined factors which depict NIV failure and mortality. It states that sleep tendency is found in mechanically ventilated patients during dexmedetomidine infusion.
