- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 68-year-old man with myasthenia gravis and widespread skin eruption while on treatment with azathioprine (AZA), oral prednisone and pyridostigmine. The patient was febrile and appeared fatigue and ill on physical examination. A diagnosis of azathioprine hypersensitivity syndrome as an adverse reaction to azathioprine. The condition of the patient improved after discontinuation of AZA.
