- Abstract
The article presents a case of a middle-aged African American man with diffuse soft tissue calcifications and acute kidney injury due to sarcoidosis-induced hypercalcemia. It is inferred that hydration and glucocorticoid therapy help resolve the patient's soft tissue calcifications and improve his kidney function. It also notes that the patient remained on low-dose corticosteroids for nearly three years.
