- Abstract
An essay is presented on the lecture of Jacques Derrida entitled "Comment ne pas trembler" (How to Avoid Speaking: Denials). It explores how Derrida discusses his complex relation to the concept of negative theology and the duality of denial and its secret. It offers brief reflections on trembling and explains the work of deconstruction which is considered the survival of Derrida's knowledge of trembling.
