The article focuses on an study related to regional anesthesia for anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction in adolescents. Topics discussed inlcude anesthetizing of nerves by lumbar plexus block; recieval of blocks prior to incision using ropivacaine for both bolus and infusion; and femoral catheters have proven superior to single-injection techniques in adult studies.
